Fall & Winter 2026: The Merchandise Trends We're Loving Right Now

One of the things I love most about watching trends is seeing how they evolve from one season to the next.

Earlier this year, we shared some of the biggest influences we were seeing for Spring and Summer—hand-drawn artwork, outdoor-inspired graphics, clean design, heritage styles, and merchandise with a little more personality.

As we move into Fall and Winter, some of those ideas are sticking around, but they're taking on a different feel. We're seeing richer colors, heavier garments, more texture, more layering, and plenty of nostalgia. At the same time, brands are finding new ways to make even the simplest pieces feel thoughtful and custom.

Here are a few of the trends our creative team is watching for Fall and Winter 2026.

Outdoors Style Gets Even More Nostalgic

The outdoor aesthetic isn't slowing down anytime soon, but this season we're seeing it lean even further into nostalgia.

Pen-and-ink artwork, mixed-media collages, highly illustrated graphics, minimal retro designs, and '90s National Park influences are showing up everywhere. Instead of everything feeling perfectly polished, there's an appreciation for artwork that feels collected, hand-drawn, or pulled from another era.

And it goes well beyond T-shirts.

Hats, crossbody bags, blankets, bandanas, keychains, stickers, and patches are becoming part of the overall collection. Instead of treating accessories as an add-on, brands are using them to build a bigger visual story.

I especially love this trend because there's so much room to make it your own. You can pull inspiration from vintage outdoor brands without losing the personality that makes your brand recognizable.

Camp Merch Keeps Getting Better

We've said it before: camp merch doesn't have to look like "camp merch."

For Fall and Winter, we're continuing to see camps borrow inspiration from retail, music, outdoor brands, and vintage apparel. Building illustrations, nature-inspired artwork, vintage hunting influences, oversized typography, and oversized garments are giving camp merchandise a much more lifestyle-driven feel.

There's also a lot happening beyond the shirt. Hats continue to be huge, while accessories like patches, bandanas, bracelets, keychains, mini pennant flags, and even pickleball paddles give camps an opportunity to build an entire collection rather than relying on one commemorative tee.

The goal is still the same: make something campers want to keep wearing long after camp is over.

Corporate Merch Doesn't Have to Feel Corporate

This might be one of my favorite shifts we're seeing.

Corporate merchandise is getting cleaner, more elevated, and a lot more wearable.

One-color grid designs, minimal tonal decoration, stylistic typography, badges, and sketch-style artwork are replacing the oversized logos and traditional promotional looks we've all seen before. At the same time, premium garments and specialty applications are doing more of the heavy lifting.

We're also seeing brands pay closer attention to the little things: clean embroidery, badge patches, dimensional applications, glassware, journals, and thoughtfully designed accessories.

When the garment and decoration are good enough, you don't need to cover every available space with your logo. Sometimes subtle branding actually makes the biggest impression.

Hunting & Fishing Look Back to Move Forward

If there's one area where nostalgia feels especially at home, it's hunting and fishing.

Old-school graphics, pen-and-ink illustrations, simple front prints, stylized typography, and camo garments are bringing a heritage feel back to outdoor merchandise.

But there's an important distinction: vintage-inspired doesn't have to mean outdated.

The strongest examples take familiar influences and pair them with modern garments, intentional color palettes, and elevated decoration. Embroidered scenes, clean patches, woven tags, belt buckles, neck gaiters, and other accessories can take a simple collection and make it feel much more complete.

It's a great example of how looking backward can sometimes create something that feels surprisingly fresh.

Athletic Style Is Everything

Athletic apparel continues to move far beyond the gym or the field.

This season, we're seeing several different influences collide: classic collegiate graphics, streetwear, muted imagery, high-end minimal design, and a major dose of racing culture.

"Racer core" in particular is bringing bold typography, sponsor-style layouts, vintage motorsports inspiration, and graphic-heavy artwork into everyday apparel. On the other end of the spectrum, clean and minimal athletic pieces prove that sports-inspired merchandise doesn't always have to be loud.

Headwear is getting more interesting too. Elaborate hats, 3D embroidery, headbands, and crossbody bags are giving brands more ways to carry an athletic collection beyond the T-shirt or sweatshirt.

Whether you're actually connected to sports or just borrowing from the aesthetic, there's a lot of inspiration here.

Feminine Merch Is Having More Fun

One of the biggest things we're noticing in feminine merchandise is that there's no single "look."

Witty slogans are sitting alongside patchwork, mixed-color typography, tonal appliqués, camo, and oversized graphics. Silhouettes are changing too, with mock necks, oversized fits, and off-the-shoulder styles bringing more variety to the actual garments.

We're also seeing brands have a lot more fun with decoration and accessories. Large embroidered type, patterned-bill hats, patches, bandanas, totes, and keychains make it possible to build a collection with plenty of personality.

The overall feeling is playful and a little unexpected—which is exactly what makes it interesting.

Instead of designing something that simply feels "feminine," brands are creating merchandise with a distinct point of view.

The Details Are Becoming the Design

If I had to pick one idea that connects almost everything we're seeing this season, it would be this:

The details matter.

A tonal appliqué. A woven tag. An embroidered scene. A patterned hat bill. An unexpected garment. A patch, keychain, bandana, or bag that turns one T-shirt into an entire collection.

We're seeing brands think beyond simply putting artwork on a blank. They're considering the garment, decoration method, placement, texture, accessories, and overall presentation as pieces of the same idea.

And that's where merchandise starts to feel less like a promotional product and more like something you'd find at retail.

Trends Are Inspiration, Not a Formula

Just like we said with our Spring and Summer trends, the goal isn't to chase everything that's popular.

Trends are useful because they give us new ways to think. They introduce different color combinations, garment styles, decoration techniques, typography, and artwork that we might not have considered otherwise.

But the best merchandise still has to feel like you.

Our creative team uses trends as a starting point, then figures out how to translate those ideas into something that makes sense for your brand and your audience.

Because what's trending might get someone's attention.

Creating something they actually want to wear is what makes it stick.

Need a Little Creative Inspiration?

Whether you're planning a new Fall/Winter collection, refreshing your company merch, preparing for an event, or simply wondering what you could do differently this season, our creative team would love to help.

Bring us the idea, the inspiration, or even the completely blank page.

We'll take it from there.
